That is better than a great deal. Several years ago I got an aluminum boat I keep at our fractional ownership condo for $125.00. I am currently looking for a motor for it and if I do then I have to license the boat to use it on a navigatable waterway. With oars it doesn't need to be licensed and the law to me doesn't make a lot of sense but it is what it is!

How else would they make money off every citizen they can. Nobody wants to propel there boat via man power.

Texas says oars or electric then no sticker... I've seen some very large electric motors and battery banks in boats, lol!
A lot of lakes do require a separate sticker for that specific lake and that requires the boat be registered though.

Would be funny to see someone with a generator on their boat powering the electric motor. Just a big finger to the man.

Finally.
img20160831_205344.jpg
Been scoping out craigslist for a year looking for these. 55 gallon, HDPE barrels, with locking ring and cap holes. $25 each.

Brand new food grade, only had bagged setiva sugar in them. They still smell factory clean. Had the gallon marks on the side at 5 gallon intervals.

Got two for me, and one for another member here.

Finally. And just in time to get this baby going. Sac run this weekend!

Sabco bright beer tank, https://www.brewmagic.com/products/select-sankey-keg/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow for $100. It included a few keg couplers with it. It's just like the one on the link with the exception of the small triclover fitting. Can't beat the price for the 4" fitting already welded to the top of the keg. This could easily be a boiler but I don't know what I am going to do to it yet. I might just leave it unmolested and throw water in it and serve soda water from the kegerator.

Scored a BUNN Coffee Grinder as a local restaurant auction

Scored a BUNN Coffee Grinder as a local restaurant auction

There's an auction company that specializes in restaurant supplies that I follow closely. It's been a great source for 10 lb fire extinguishers, SS stuff, and frequently, quality commercial coffee grinders.

This past week I scored a BUNN G92 Coffee Grinder for $70. plus auction fees ($85 total). It's $1350. when new.

Check out this video of it grinding cracked corn: https://youtu.be/ZFNgOo3jqOU" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow

BTW, there's another unit coming up for bid in September:

We are offering some pretty good prices on our used gear, most of it works great in the H.D. equipment line. Check our list under classifieds and give us a call.

I picked up this yesterday finding it still 2/3 full. Enough to still fill 3/ 50lb. bottles. I'll use this to keep my 20lbr full for years to come as well as run my little mig welder when needed. Of course there's still some plumbing and fittings involved. I'll keep my eye out for the correct regulator however that's a safety feature that can be held off for the moment as a simple flash fill method works as well.

I'm not sure of the actual size, a 60" tall bottle. Its a behemoth compared to the 50lb bottle. Price $$ Free to Me...

I picked up some alcohol meters by e.c. kraus from amazon for about $3.00 a piece a couple weeks ago. Now they are under $3.
Lord, give me patience, but give it to me NOW!

You think buying a bunch of sugar gets you noticed? Try buying 10 Family Size boxes of Froot Loops.
Turns into a real party at the checkout.

Yeah? Is it the kind with all crunchberries?? I could shoot the thumper with crunchberries! Thanks, Cranky, for sharing that bit of Frooty Goodness!
Maybe I've been thinking inside the box, I should shop around. Do they still make Frankenberry? Trix? Pop Tarts? I think those had natural fruit flavors.
Perhaps even grind up some outdated store bought pies! Or Zingers! Fig Newtons? Yes, I need to get more creative. :shifty:
