I like it. Never heard etnotranss before. A rather catchy Celtic/Mongolian mantra hybrid...

Thanks for sharing.

Well, I drive a lot. Used to listen to country, but damn it is depressing. I mostly listen to classical, no words to try to follow, The Army made sure I can’t make out words. It is relaxing, and I like mainstream Mozart piano concertos. A little Beethoven, I usually shut off NPR NEWS. TOO liberal/ democratic.

For me, I've always loved this group:

3 guys, a wall of sound and exceptional musical abilities. Geddy's voice is an acquired taste but I didn't subject you to it in the first song but you can see why it's an "acquired" taste in The Trees (2nd song). :)
I've had to have seen them live more than 100 times. A bunch of friends and I followed them around the USA/Canada one year and caught more than 25 shows that year alone. Seemed like every penny earned went to Rush shows/trips that year! I know for sure we spent more nights sleeping in my van then in our beds.

I graduated high school in the early 80s so I'm influenced heavy by that time period and the bands of that time period including Zeplin, Floyd & Van Halen. I used to play several different instruments in my younger years including piano/keyboards so I appreciate many different formats including classical as well as things like:

If an orchestra and Yanni doesn't do it for you, how about this one:

I've seen a lot of great bands live in my time. Married a women who loved country music and seen more country bands then anyone should ever be subjected to. LOL

Yanni has aged about 30 years since the last time I thought of him. I realize that "Nothing Else Matters" is a Metallica's song, but I think it's better when it's played by the 4 cellos of Apocalyptica. Eyes closed.

The Rodrigo y Gabriela version of Orion that I ripped from a CD several years ago is 10 minutes long. This YouTube version is only half that and not quite as good.

Thanks again.

Dad's father's family were Scots, his mother's Irish, and my mother's family mostly English from Cornwall and Devon and I think Yorkshire.
