Man good job. My guy is keeping all the kegs for me...out date to check back is tomorrow. But I was going to poke my head in the copper box for just this thing. Copper for wort chiller for 50 gallon barrel. What size did you get. What size asnd length should I look for that big of a tun?MichiganCornhusker wrote:45' copper tubing for a wort chiller, $18.
$3/#, I've got him keeping an eye out for some 4" pipe.

Hell, if he finds enough let me know. I'm seeing a flute build in my future.MichiganCornhusker wrote:45' copper tubing for a wort chiller, $18.

That's awesome. Looks like ya shoulda started a separate thread! lolMichiganCornhusker wrote:100 gallon conical stainless mash tun/fermenter with insulated jacket and sanitary fittings, plumbed or heating or cooling: $150
I think I might need to.frunobulax wrote:Looks like ya shoulda started a separate thread! lol
Shit ya, you just hit the easy button with that rig. Put steam on it and a cooling line with a 3 way and you got a 1 pot do everything. Cook, mash, ferment and, still right off that MF. If you wanted to get fancy you could put a PID on there with some solenoid valves but at that point you wont have anything to do but buy a sack of corn and where's the fun in that.MichiganCornhusker wrote: I'm gonna need to rework my whole mash procedure to take advantage of this beast.
I see a mixer in my future, steam heating, some way to control temps.
