Mine has been called "The Water Purifier" since it's beginning. I guess I should give her a real name. I now christen her "The Lucky Lady" named after my grandfathers and then my 17ft Star Craft boat. Thanks Grandpa
called my pot still "f....n wanker!!" when my arm touched it while it was bloody hot! if that counts....don't want to be calling it "Himself" as the missus will tell any mates calling that "he's out in the shed playing with himself!"...lol...thinking about calling it "Christine"...like the car!..but probably "Herb"...I like that!

So far mine has been affectionately known as "mama bear" since it's 12 gallon and I also made a 6 gallon for my dad for father's day (which became baby bear) after making a joke to my wife about the names. I however am thinking of calling it "Northern Pike" because the song by the band with that name "she ain't pretty, she just looks that way" keeps popping I'm my head every time I run for some reason.
On another note, I am wondering if o e of the guys at the radio station live in my neighborhood. Every time I run, I have it on, and always seem to hear "whiskey in the jar" or "copperhead road" played. Popular song, but after 8 runs and every time, seems an odd coincidence for both songs played lol
Welcome aboard Prichard....at times it seems like a drunken journey...lotsa laughs...serious stuff goin on....and some real good bastards hiding behind the words im pickin...cheers

Numerous 57L kegs, some propane, one 220v electric with stilldragon controller. Keggle for all-Grain, two pot still tops for whisky, a 3" reflux with deflag for vodka. Coming up, a 4" perf plate column. Life is short, make whisky and drag race!
My youngest son (22yrs) says I should name it Heywouldja... He says everytime he comes around me and the still I say Heywouldja pour this fermenter over here, Heywouldja pick up some corn in town, Heywouldja sit down and try some of this with me.......
I'm building a pot still head that will fit onto the BOP that I use for homebrewing. Dual purpose equipment is a running theme in my homebrewing hobby, because I live in a small apartment with SWMBO and storage space is a big issue. This still head will allow me to simultaneously reduce my equipment storage footprint while upgrading to a still that's more than twice as big (currently running a 3 gal milk can from mile hi, no name)
the BOP does not have a name, it's just a pot. But the still head has a name, and his name is Gorgeous George.
One of my first stills was called Tinkerbell because of a little piece of solder that would tinker away in my reflux condenser....I only just realised my 6" bubbler(flute) could also lay claim to this name...sorta like calling a huge bloke Tiny...my 6"er is called The Big Boy or Tinky for short...lol's
I run a 6" 4 x sieve plate bubbler (flute), all hand made by myself, Custom Copper Fabricator mounted on my 100ltr boiler...my approach to Hobby distillation is safety 1st, quality a close 2nd and making good friends with similar hobby's as myself.
5 gallon is wife(don't put out enuf)
keg is the other woman
and when set up a steam stripper its hot biatch.
welcome aboard some of us are ornery old coots but if you do a lot of
reading and don't ask stupid questions you'll be alright most are
big help

I never named any of mine until now. The new one is called "Muggles Too". "Muggles" because it is made out of dollar store mugs and "Too" as in as well because the idea came from a still built by Mash Rookie also made out of mugs which was the original Muggles. I am now assembling one I've been calling "The Neutralizer" because it is only intended to be used for making neutral.
Never thought of naming parts of my brewing equipment. I have just about all of the finished product. The brew I remember the most is the one that i just ran out of. Years ago I did have one (Tit beer)now that one I have missed.
I'll have to think about this naming of likker making equipment
