If you have any handyman skills I'd suggest building your own. It's not that difficult and it's cheaper. There are tutorials on the forum here on how to solder. Plenty of places online to buy copper or you can go to a salvage place and buy it cheaper.

Don't hold your breath Amos. I had the exact same problem. Paid in full on same day ordered, March 12. Promised in 15 working days. Contacted him several times in late April. He never picked up his cell phone, and only responded to emails when threatened. When he did respond, he gave a different excuse each time. First, his wife was dying. Then, he couldn't get my information. Then he had a dentist appointment. Then, he claimed his identity was stolen. I cancelled the sale through my credit card company right away. It was one lie after another. You cannot trust a single word this guy says. Cancel if you can.

Just got back in town and almost 6 months later I had a still sitting there.

I sure feel better knowing I don't have to worry about this any more.

I got the same one Jetzon has so I'm going to have to modify it and turn it into a pot still.

I finally received the still I ordered. I got it about a week after I filed a claim with PayPal. I'm not too impressed, but I'll try it out.
I think I'll just fabricate my own now that I have found this forum/site.

Here is a pic of what they sent me.

Ive read, that sucks, id be furious. Can you not just call your Visa/Mastercard company and order an issue to contest the payment?
Thats the easiest thing to do. If you ever see any problems. They hold the payment and they contact the seller and ask we their customer had ask to contest a payment that you guys took out on the customers credit card. I think you have two months to contest it.

my advice is don't do buissness with stillscamin'.com they are a joke everybody I have spoken to has had problems with them , I ordered a venom combo from them last sept. and everytime I called they had a new excuse as to why it had not left yet. The owners son rob is a punk, I called complaining and his answer was " what are you going to do about it, you'll get it when we send it" now that was after 4 months. I should have called col. cooper to begin with.

I think there are many here with the same feelings (I have not lost money to the scum, but share others hurt who have lost out). However, it would be you, me, whomever that went looking for the fight that would spend the 3 months in jail for it. Not worth it. Was much better to simply cause his fake business to fold, by public outing him as a fraud.

Yeah, it's amazing how some folks like churning the internet, baiting unknowing people into less than honest dealings... If one site isn't enough, make it three or four...

I like this comment off the bottom of e85machines.com... "ALL UNITS ARE TRADEMARKED AND COPY RIGHT INFRINGEMENTS WILL BY PROSECUTED TO FULL EXTENT" Like they invented the stills... All they can trademark and copyright is the images - and maybe some original text... The designs, no, not unless they have patents - which they don't...

As far as site quality is concerned, even a caveman could do better... But what else should we expect considering the quality of their stills...

The saga continues...

And the prize for the most uses of the words 'Moonshine', 'whiskey', and 'Bourbon', in their advertising blurb, goes to Real McCoy Moonshine Stills, aka Still Drinkin.
We have found that no one teaches you how make Whiskey and Bourbon
Except a bunch of books and free online forums, who all do a way better job than you ever will.
Here we have the Right Tools for The Job.
You certainly got a bunch of Right Tools there.
We hold nothing back from you. You get spoon feed the right way.
You ain't shy in holding back on both the quality and delivery date of your product. And you certainly are spoon feeding your customers a whole lot of something, though it ain't good quality stills or advice.

And their drivel about stainless tainting your 'dissolute' and making it all 'cloudy'... These guys are hilarious, and we get to read it for free on the net! We should be grateful, they are really generous subversive performance artistes in disguise.

Stop it, boys, I'm gonna get a hysterical laughter induced hernia. Oh no, I got two of em. Ahh well, it was worth it.

There's some funny spelling errors on the pages

http://www.realmccoymoonshinestills.com/tiltstil.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow

"You need he right tools to do the right job and with these dissolution units you will be more than loaded for bear, when making world class whiskey and bourbon!"

Does the still decompose your ferment? Or is it so bad that you put the output in the compost. And is going make you even more that angry or emotional then just 'loaded for bear'.

------

http://www.realmccoymoonshinestills.com/refluxstill.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow

"Valved Reflux Still give you the highest percentages of desolate."

desolate - feeling or showing misery, unhappiness, or loneliness

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA - translation, it's our most popular model we never ship. There's plenty of unhappy people out there.

:D :D :D :D

Amassing. Simply amassing...

"You can reticulate and control the final out-put on this unit! Amassing. This Valved reflux has all the bells and whistles."

Y'all get to reticulating your output!!!

(reticulate: network-like in form or appearance. How the hell are you supposed to do THAT???)

They're talking about distribution Chemist. You can distribute and control the distillate distribution network.

Uncle Jessie, you got the wrong dang rig in your operation, this one does everything for you. Of course you'd be out of business by the time you get your "air" still.

I still think they're just dumbasses...regardless of their amassing ability to reticulate their desolate...
