Skunk is skunk. They right, no describin. But good skunk weed is similar, moose aint lyin.. Sweeter but similar. Skunk up close is like that on 10000. Way over the top. Burn your eyes out the sockets.

You can smell them a mile away. No exaggeration.

Friends of mine own a chicken ranch. The skunks eat the dead chickens. This family had a regular competition of who could "get" the most. One summer, the score was 18, 21, and 23. The youngest (spud) won the competition. Who knew there were that many of the little buggers running around.

For what it's worth, I would rather smell the strongest Jamaican skunk, then one of those four legged stink machines any day.
And I don't even partake!

Jimbo the old smoker, hehe
Was nice one time and trapped and relocated five young ins once, got sprayed head to toe. Wasted 8 quarts of fresh canned tomatoes trying to get rid of that stink. Worse part of that was they came back from almost a mile away, ended up having to kill them all and the parents, really was a heart breaker. That skunk spray is worse than mace or pepper spray burns all the orifices and makes you throw up worse than rotten fish. I learned a lesson, just shoot em and haul em off, we did throw all seven of them in some assholes drive way, teach him to be a prick. True story.

When I was a kid in SC my folks raised them destinked, one even foiled a burglary. Another true story.

Redneck justice brutha, I was headed to his front porch and their dogs started barking. I ended up knocking that guy out in the road, one punch an over hand right. I put 5 stitches in his cheek the road put seven in the back of his head. The best part he was charged with 3rd degree assault and disturbing the peace. Karma's a bitch.

This is the liars bench. If ya did, you didn't, if you didn't, you did. Don't need to do it to know that smell this day and age. Just walk by a bar or concert line up.

Seems it's been a little quiet here lately. Ya'll must have some good wash to run. So a little something to talk about. This raised a ruckus around my neck of the woods. Some got right mad they didn't remove the critter before they painted the lines.

A little off the topic of skunks and road kill, but ...

Had a great night. I ain't had to dodge any rollin' pins lately, so decided to take the ole woman to the county fair over in the valley. We ate some BBQ and went to a "Nitty Gritty Dirt Band" concert. Lots of lights, food vendors, a half nekked woman in a hot tub, and the smell of pig shit in the air. Been quite a spell since I had a night like that. Now I'm gonna settle in and sip on a neat glass of SF whiskey.

when I was a lot younger we caught a small Badger. The only thing we had to put it in was an old suit case that belonged to my older sister she wasent with us. So out goes her stuff and in goes Badger now named Bud Weiser.
So we drive around have a few beers and try to figure out what to do with Bud.
Bud must not like his new cage he's hissin and tryin to claw his way out.
We have a few more beers and start to feel sorry for Ol Bud now our favorite pet. BUT none of us have had enough beer to have the courage to open that case.
Buds now quiteing down when we come to a cross road... Just as a plan starts a brewing. Maybe not a good plan but a plan just the same.
So we set the suit case by the edge of the road and park back off the road to see what happens. As I said maybe not a good plan but as I said we had a few beers.
Well we had'nt hardly shut off the lights when a car came to a screetching stop the passenger door flys open and he runs back grabs Bud and gets back in the car. :D :D :D
They had'nt gone a 100 Yds when both doors fly open out jumps the driver and 2 passengers the car coasts down the road and into the borrow pit.
Just as we drive by Bud casualy gets out with a pair of pink panties around his neck and heads off into the desert none the WEISER.

Haha, i almost bought a roll of that the other week, ga! But then i thought to myself, if i put that down while doing my business, what if it blends in so well i can't find it? They also had blaze orange. . . but the last thing i want is to be attracting attention with bright orange while i'm hunkering down in the bush with my pants around my ankles. I'll stick with white. It'll be fine .... until it snows . . . in which case i'll be building an outhouse at the moose camp.

While surveying years ago the guy I worked with would on occasion take a dump on the cut line, hide his paper and camo up his pile with leaves. Always around a turn point and instrument set. Nasty bastard had best been glad I never took a misstep. But, he wanted to get a case of the ass when I picked up a dead dog mummified carcus and left in the back of his truck after work one afternoon!
Same guy once called and meet up with us as we walked out of a timberland boundary survey in the flatwoods on a 95 degree plus humid day! We had packed in lunch and water on one end of the line. We had drank all the cooler water we had and had even dipped up the tannic rain water from the firebreak just to wet our mouths. Sent one guy back to the truck 1.5 hours before quitting time to bring the truck around to the other end of the line. One of the crew was around 45 at the time while the rest of us were in out late 20 early 30s. The older guy was about to pass out for lack of a drink. The practicsl joker drove jp just as we got out with one new unopened gatoraid. The 45 yr old tried to give him $5 for the 16 oz drink. Joker wouldn't sell it but said he didnt mind giving him some of it as long as he got the first drink. The 45 yr old, normally an honorable and proud guy, being as thirsty as he was agreed to the idea. Joker opened the drink, putmit to his mouth, and for the love of God I tell you a tongue as long as Gene Simmons' came out of his mouth and liked down to the inside haunch of the bottle! Then took a small sip and handed it over to 45! 45 turned red in the face as if tomhave a coronary, snatched the gatoraid out of Jokers hand, turned it up and drank it! He then turned and proceeded to finish packing the truck while biting his lip the whole time we were giving him hell about it. Most despicable act I ever saw one supposed friend do to another. Yes, Joker was an asshole at times, but generally fun to work with.
