Geoff:
"As I’ve said before live how you want to live, and more importantly don’t get caught. Treat others the way you would like them to treat you. Slide through the swampy waters of life(sharing a wee dram with others on the way) and don’t splash because that big alligator on the bank will notice you, and then the game is really up, and he’ll get ya. (and impound your gear and arrest ya’ and drink all your poteen/shine)"

This my friend sums up life quite well:) There were lessons to be learned from that time period wasn't there

Hi AkCoyote,
You bet ya. Chuck Berry had it right swimming across Turtle Creek with them thar snappers where all around his feet and know matter how hard he heard bells ring. He heald on to his ding-a ling-a-ling. That's important when the crap hits the fan ya gotta hold on to yar ding-a ling-a-ling.
Especially when someone is shooting at you outside Musgrave Hospital in Belfast with an AK47 and you are doing your very best to hide behind a 5" kerb with a bulky flack jacket on. Looking back on things that kerb looked aweful high when I dived behind it. (Fact is I think I remember it more as a low wall that started to shrink when I got behind it, and I distinctly remember thinking walls arn't supposed to do this)
