yeah the idea was a scrap. when i first found out there was mercury there i didn't think much of it. i knew that it melts at like 30 some odd degrees or something so i figured the torch would get rid of any possible trace. that was also before i found out that vapor is the worst way to come in contact. :roll: live and learn. glad i posted on here, could have given somebody some heavy metal infested spirit as a present. Uncle Jemima just tell the guy it's for a specific gravity hydrometer for your airlock overflow. just brewing some beer. honest. i do like the though of a glass parrot but after really thinking about it, i would prob end up breaking it.
