While you were wasting your time answering my post…I'm just wondering what nugget of information you were trying to pass on to be helpful. No, this particular hobby is not easy to pick up. I have read the entire New Distiller areas and two books. There are lots of areas left out and tons of people trying to make things sound a lot easier than they really are, not to mention the misinformation that abounds out there. I enjoy fully understanding cause and effect instead of just blinding going through the motions to get alcohol.
If you feel you are wasting your time…simply don't reply to my posts. If you want to be helpful, maybe a "Hey…you must have missed it in your reading. Here is a link to the information you are asking…." would be more helpful than bashing someone because you are simply bored. You may be a "Master Distiller", and that's a great accomplishment…but you started out a novice.
So…I'll eat my left sock if you point out EXACTLY where in the New Distillers Forum it discusses airing out! If you follow my post, you will see that round one started with an "experimental and sacrificial method". My second run was EXACTLY from the Tried and True Sweetfeed recipe.
If you want to be helpful and offer "constructive criticism"…here's yer chance.
