My missus would probably help, but it's my time.out from mundane life issues, and like to do it on my own. She totally supports me and is always drinking my rum! Lol.
Here's to alcohol, the cause of, and solution to, all life's problems.

Very similar set up as PP, my stillin time is mine. She sometimes helps with cuts and actually did more before I aquired the skills to do a decent job myself. Sometimes she helps steady my 4" column when I get ready to do a run and assemble it to the boiler but most the time I can manage. She also likes the drinks and sometimes experiments with infusion with my neutrals when she wants to try something new. She like me is a retired teacher but her area of expertise in Home Economics so she understands yeast, combining certain things, etc. that have a carry over from the food industry.

We have been on a 27+ year adventure together. She will jump in and help anytime I need an extra set of hands weather it be grinding grain or transferring from the fermentor to the boiler. She's always willing to help and is inquisitive in the processes but I think it's more of just doing things together. She hunts, fishes & shoots with me and is very proficient at all. I think by sharing these joys (and many others) of life together, it keeps us so close.
God has blessed me and I will be hanging on tight to this one till the day I die.

Mine is a card carrying Native America, farms, runs the cattle biz, gardens, chickens and likes the product from the still.

We hope she is a "twofer"...if a biz comes from it, ala woodshed.

She likes it and gets as involved as I let her, feeds wire to me while making SPP, makes maceration's and gin from the vodka, dives to the emergency room when I cut myself...feeds me while I'm stillin...takes no blame when things go wrong, HA.
