Thank you for your kind words everyone. I'm just glad I could write something that I feel should make everyone's efforts here a bit easier for the benefit of this wonderful site. I'm also glad you guys knew how to link posts in a signature because I have no idea how I did it.

Now I see this year after asking Halfbaked how to do it lol. I'm old school and not up to date on php at all, and my attempt at using the old html method didn't work.

Thought I'd confirm that your spoon-feeding tips were a good read. I read this some time ago, and a few times since. Thanks for your efforts Cranky.

Well im new to the forum just a few hours. And im glad i found this because i came to the forum to learn and to make a better product. I was haveing a little trouble navigateing the site but this post gave me direction. I thankyou for that cranky. It may be a bit befor u hear from me again as it seems i have a ton of reading to do. The other members might thank you for that thanks again for this

Thank you Chace. I'm always happy to hear from people this thread helps even though I regard my contribution as a very small part. Yes, I wrote this thread but in all actuality there are many contributors, namely each person who wrote each of those links. I feel my part is only a very small contribution to give back to the site that has helped me and I'm glad it is able to help so many others.

Thanks for the feeding...as a long time member and moderator on a couple other forums(different topics of discussion of course) I feel your frustration with the same questions again and again. People don't want to research which I don't understand cause I love learning new stuff...

Hey Crankmeister (Oscar???),

I've got your sticky threaded in my signature line, as have many, many others. I think this link is one of the "most followed" for the new, and even not-quite-so-new distillers. If there was a "kickback" for threads, I'd bet you'd be driving a new Cadillac soon. But since there isn't, I just wanted to parrot others words and say "thank you" for pulling the links and all together for a concise, quick starting point to this hobby.

Now, if it would just eliminate the redundant newbie questions....(pinch me, I'm dreaming)....

It may not stop the questions but now the redundant answer is often "Go to the spoon feeding thread" which was my whole point in creating it in the first place so I think mission accomplished there
