Wow...and to think I was bitchin' because price went up to $280 a ton for cracked corn and my SF mix went to $360 a ton. :oops:

If you can find somewhere to mill your corn, then you can have the wheat milled also. Wheat likker is really good. Just sayin'.
Simple Lil' Pot Still, no temp guage, no carbon, no scrubbers, nuthin' fancy. Sometimes use a thumper, sometimes don't.

I've got access to anything I need here in south Texas but I've got the corn, it's free. Free corn equals free booze. I'm gonna be making a batch of wheat liquor too verrr soon.

If you go a 60/40 split corn malted wheat and age on chard white oak for as long ad you can stand it you will get a very good drop.
Just sayin.
welcome aboard some of us are ornery old coots but if you do a lot of
reading and don't ask stupid questions you'll be alright most are

:shock: Oh now that's just drawin fire....an she aint buyin that the kids done it. Just buy a bag of cracked man....last I bought was like 8 bucks for 50 pound bag. No idea how long it's take to hand grind that much, but from sausage makin experience I don't want no part of all that crankin...

I found last night that my Magic Bullet will make meal out of cracked corn at the rate of 1#/minute. I can imagine the racket whole corn would make though. :wtf:

Hell ya can just use ear corn tie a beaver to a log, have a buddy shove ear corn in his pie hole an beat his ass with a ping pong paddle.
Be safer than a divorce attorney. "The beaver not your buddy" :think:
