Those pictures only show the outside...I'm more concerned with whats inside.
It is most absurdly said, in popular language, of any man, that he is disguised in liquor; for, on the contrary, most men are disguised by sobriety. ~Thomas de Quincy, Confessions of an English Opium-Eater, 1856

When I need to scrub out the inside of my copper alembic I use 0000 steel wool and powdwered pumice stone (only on the spots where things have stuck and burned. The rest I scrub lightly with a green 3M-scrub pad and mild soap. After thorough rinsing, then I pour in plain white vinegar 3% and enough table salt to make a very thick paste. Always with gloves on, I work the paste around the entire interior using a sponge. Experience teaches you when to stop. Rinse and dry. The copper (inside) is ready to go.

To polish the outside, which I do not do too often, I like a product called Nevr-Dull Wadding Polish. I love the stuff; get a good buzz from the fumes. Just kidding!! If you don’t know it, check it out: http://www.nevrdull.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow

Might be a stupid question on an old thread, but has anyone ever tried coca cola?
