I’ve just done my introduction, now what’s this tapatalk business, I see the app advertisement at top of page so do if I don’t get the app am I all set or is there something else I have to do?

So if I don’t get the app I’m all good?

right.

if you install the app you need to turn off the ad tag line in the app to post here.

the app may make your experience using the forum a bit easier than using the web interface when you are on a mobile device.

I know this is an old topic,
But is Tapatalk still supported, I have downloaded the app, turned of the signature ad, but I am unable to log in at all, yes, I am using the correct username/password

Any plans to bring this back in the future? Or is there a problem with the connection between tapatalk and the form?

The problem was that it automatically included an advert saying the post was via Tapatalk .
This forum is strongly against advertising .
Although it was in the rules that a user of tapatalk was supposed to disable the add as a condition of using it , too many folk didn’t . This meant extra work for Mods editing out posts and threatening repeat offenders with expulsion if they did not comply . In the end , it caused too much bad will and it was decided to remove it .

So no , I don’t think we will see it back .
