Do something about it. I use simple, inexpensive, methods to control my ferments at my desired temperatures, summer and winter, in an uninsulated shed. There are many threads here on that subject.

Thank you, I do wrap it in a thermal cloth and have an electronic control temperate belt to target a constant fermenting temperature but the scientist in me tells me that different ambient temperatures could have an effect.
I suppose the best I can do is monitor and maintain a constant temperature on the ferment vis-a-vis the whole laundry!
Taking a break while I get a new still completed....

Re: Propagating bakers yeast
I can tell you what it will do.....it will just do what yeast does.....I've run generations of UJSM for over 8 years on the first pitch of bakers yeast.
Just recently due to the yeast shortage I fermented 4 lots of Shadys Sugar Shine one after the other by using the yeast bed from the last wash.
You can use the same yeast indefinatley as long as you don't do anything stupid to kill it off.
It doesn't have to be scientific or difficult......just scoop some yeast out of the bottom of the last ferment.......or drain the fermenter without disturbing the slurry on the bottom.....then add fresh ingredients at a yeast suitable temp.
