Hi Steve. I think the M in Management stands for the management of the take off rate. I may be mistaken. Could not find and answer for sure with some searches.

It does, the higher the takeoff rate, the less reflux there is. They are generally very dependant on each other. Youe either control the takeoff rate, which affects the reflux ratio, or you control the reflux rate, this changes the take off speed.

Sure, adjusting the V or the L or the C can impact the reflux ratio and it also can change product ABV, but I was talking about what the definition of VM, LM, CM is and I’m pretty sure the M is not in reference to the reflux ratio. People don’t measure the reflux ratio, they measure product output.
