Yessir , just getting mine ready for a Rum spirit run while the plated column sits forlorn in the corner of the shed .

BTW , I’ve got Low wines and tails from previous run in Boiler and heads from previous run in thumper.

People still use thumpers?

Personally, I'd go with an 'inline vertical thumper' A.K.A. a column. a 3-4 inch diameter by 36" long column stuffed with copper or stainless scrubbers should perform at least as well as a thumper, if not, better.
How does a packed column deliver more flavor then a thumper. I can't see passive reflux delivering more flavor then a thumper.

Oh, I use thumpers very often.
15 L-10-L-10L vessels with 14-3-3 L of TFFV, as a one-and-done run.
10 L-15 L vessels with 9 L water and 8 L of fruitpulp. Or a grainpulp.
15 L-10 L-10 L vessels with 12-2-2 L of melasse wash; diluted low wines; diluted high wines for making ru

The best thing I did (stillingwise) was making a one-hole-thumper-T.

I love thumping one hole! (sorry couldn't resist...)

If I'm reading your message correctly, you're pushing 2 thumpers??? Have you seen the double thumper threads? Good stuff there. Haggy has some excellent intel.

I've been messing with double thumpers on a couple runs myself recently...
