Good thing the site is back up and running.
I was beginning to have withdraw symptoms.
Here's a big thank you to UJ and the team.

Truth be told. That's why I didn't come to the meet. They don't let me cross the border no more. Apparently I need some paper work filled out.Deplorable wrote: ↑Sun May 21, 2023 4:08 pmYeah me too. Down for a while but glad to see we are back up and running. Glad I’m not the one problem solving.

Same thought here Bushy.
God knows how many hours Uncle Jess has put into keeping this place alive since its inception years ago. It would add up to thousands of hours I'm guessing.

Hopefully he's already got a full mirror site sitting there waiting to go if it really does go down hard.

Finally got her in there. Never did work through my account and I had to contribute as a PayPal guest. I can’t remember the last time I had such difficulties trying to hand my money out.

Freedom had been hunted round the globe; reason was considered as rebellion; and the slavery of fear had made men afraid to think. But such is the irresistible nature of truth, that all it asks, and all it wants, is the liberty of appearing.

OK folks, there is an upstream error in the automatic SSL cert renewal. I have found a workaround and implemented it, so secure web pages are once again working.
I have to contact folks way above my head to get a permanent fix implemented.
Sorry again for the hassles. This stuff is way above me and completely out of my control.

Re: Homedistiller was down
Unless you have someone who's really good and all the stars align, automatic certificate renewals are rarely automatic. Most Linux or BSD web servers seem to use a Java Keystore and you have to install the cert locally on the web server, have a subject alternate name that matches the DNS name, and all kinds of fun stuff.
This cert that's in use expires in three months, so you'll get to have fun again soon. Good luck, and thanks.
