Still design opinions

Putting older posts here. Going to try to keep the novice forum pruned about 90 days work. The 'good' old stuff is going to be put into appropriate forums.

column was my first still head also, and now, about all it does is clean feigns a couple times a year. I (like many newbies) thought the 95% column was the best way to go, only to learn that it is pretty boring after you master it, and it ends up collecting dust in the corner, more than it does collecting spirit after you get hooked in the hobby more.

Same story here. Started with neutral, quickly moved to rum.
