I see people saying the LM stills are easier to build, but looking at designs the LM* with the slanted plate looks way harder than a VM with it's gate valve. what am I missing. I have been finding it hard to choose a gate valve but there must be something else...
I have a 3"x48" triclamp SS column and a keg and I want to build something I can expand to learn LM, VM and potstill.
Why do I see more boka LMs than VMs?
