Interesting Contra, when I look at that post on my Iphone the pic is a ? in a blue box .but when I look at it on my work PC , its a pic of calcium on a cup .
I can download it and it has a file size of 190.2kb .


EDIT : as a Mod I can click on that post and see how it was posted .
That was not an uploaded attachment .
It was an img hosted from an external site . So the problem still remains why attachments aren’t able to be uploaded unless under 40kb .

However , it is still interesting that it shows as a Pic on a PC but as a Blue Question mark on an Iphone .

soon I'm going to upgrade PHPBB to the latest version. Not sure if this will be today, but sometime between now and Saturday.

I don't know if this will fix the image upload problem, but that's on my list of things to address.

Didn't fix the image problem, sadly. The images upload just fine, I can see it in my network monitor and the page shows 100% progress, but the store/save/submit/whatever step is failing.

did a chown -R on the phpbb directory, all ownership is www:www

The main page/wiki has been upgraded to the latest version of mediawiki.

Seems to work. Please check it out and let me know.

I still get an error when trying to post a pic.
