i was thinking of a gin basket and was wandering if i could use a piece the same size as my deflag but just with a perferated plate in it that i set the herbs on. if it was the same size as the deflag, i could just switch the two out without, messing with the produce condensor heigth. my main question is,,, do yall think that the gin basket (that i described) would work? or might i be missing something?

Dunno Spooky? That sounds like code for " ima engine turn mine in such a way that makes yours look like a 13 year old did it".
Can't beleive Aaron talks to you like that
really nice work Jase.
And I think Condensificator owes you an apology

Question for Od,,, I put my laquer on my condensors today, and after I did this, I relised that one of my welds on the water inlet was weak, and broke loose. I need to fix the weld, but it has already been laquered. Do you have a y suggestions on how to reprep the finish and fix the weld?//
thanks

no problem there spooky I have done it several times. Just sand the area clean of the lacquer. flux and solder then add more lacquer.
works great

How far back from the weld do you usually sand?///
Does it discolor the remaining lawquer? This is on a engine turned piece, so I need to keep the sanding to a minimal because it will mess up the finish
Thanks
