Nice to hear from you fellers. The bench seems to be gettin a bit dusty as of late. TB , you better be gettin in shape, I got a new hip and my hand is startin to work pretty good. I hear Oklahomie has some good horses and a bunch of rope. Been known to throw a pretty good heal rope now and again. Never said I play fair. LOL!
UhHuh . Then you got to get off that horse and get me tied . That's where the fun starts . Will we start laughing like the spectators and admit that we've got a little age on us ?
I think so .

Flatwoods is , according to Bigbob , invited to that house warming party , too . Wonder if we could pry his ass out of Georgia long enough to make that trip ? Then , there's the other folks that have signed 'The Liar's Bench' .
It's something to think about .
Afterall , he has made several trips East to party with us .

Never had to get off the horse, just stretched them out for a while till they stopped kickin. Gettin off the horse could be a fun thing to watch , that is for sure and for certain.

400 kms behind me and 400 to go. We got a head wind and one devil of a dust storm going on, bit of drizzle ever now and then just to show us what mud on the windscreen is like,. Kids running around at this stop as they spotted wild tobacco Bush flowers which are fully of nectar (Prolly nicotine too) but they don't get to get at em often so I'll tether them go a bit.

For sure it will, we got these city kid millenials here got these extinction rebellion protests going on like this country has never seen droughts and fires before. God sakes its what the country is famous for. The fires are bad but I've seen worst droughts, just amazing how every bad drought was broke by good rains and the bush after a fire is the prettiest you will see it

Shipped SOH and 2 of her girlfriends off on vacation Friday morning . Guess 3 WV women at the same time was too much for The Caymans .
First earthquake threw them out of the swimming pool they were in on their asses poolside .
Second one eradicated municipal drinking water and the sewage system .They are fine at this point with a bigger than most bag of stories to bring home .
Preppers that they are ; they stocked up on drinking water and food when they got there .
Their spirits are high .
Can you imagine being ejected from a swimming pool by an earthquake generated shockwave !
They are troopers . Cleaned their asses and headed to the closest bar .
Those of you that have been here and met her know that she is one 'fit to ride the river with '.
I'm just praying that I get my lady home safe .
Ironically ; She was on the commode when the second quake hit .Texting me . The other 2 gals were waiting in line and required a more lengthy cleanup .
You just can't make this shit up .

Yep , nice to have SOH back in house . My ears get kind of lonesome in a quiet house .

I was trying to make up for it by prancing around the patio , banging a tin pot with a wooden spoon , and chanting .
UPS man refused to deliver to my address and the neighbors began taking an alternate route home .
Figgered I better quit that before the cops showed up .
How do you all cope with such circumstances ?

Butch, lernt a lot from what ya’ve said round here but I thought I might offer a suggestion, hope you’ll take it kindly. Never discuss when your are or aren’t healed. Serves no one one but your ill wishers. And, from my past life, a simple truism; it’s better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Yep , done it again . And it's SOH's fault . Yet , she's pissed at me .
Yasee , we got this census form in the mail what said we could go online and fast track this census online . Had 'til April 1 to get er done .
She allowed that when she was workin at the hospital 70-80 hrs a week with this Kung Flu thing threatin us that the least I could do was fill out that census online .
And I did , today .
She took 3 days off from work to play catchup on gardening and yard work with the oldest grand daughter , who's at loose ends from the school shutdown .
Anyhow (yep Arkansas Tom , who is battling stage 4 lung cancer right now )they worked their butts off all day and SOH gets cranky when she gets tired .
Jumped in my shit about 5:30 wanting to know what I had accomplished for the day .
I saw the grand daughter brace herself . She loves these exchanges and has a sense of humor that rivals mine .
"I got online and completed the 2020 Census ."
"Well , isn't that nice ."
"Well , ya told me I had to do it before April 1 . So , it's done ."
"All of it ?"
"Sure nuff . They asked what I did for a living and I tole them that I was retired . They asked what you did and I tole them you was an exotic dancer . I thought office manager sounded kind of boring ."
Right then the grand daughter laughed a mouth full of mac and cheese clear across the kitchen .
Blended well with the 12 oz can of Coke that SOH opened by squeezing instead of using the pull tab .
Did I mention that I have a pallet on the living room floor tonight ? I'm not allowed on the couch .......
