SOH came up with a proposal tonight that I thought bore merit . She's happy to help host this year's gathering at our place . Her thought is to make this a rotating party instead of an annual thing at our place . Jed hosted last year and we will this year . Someone else pick up the banner for next year . Any thoughts ?

Date looks great to me, TB.
BigBob, if you end up heading to D.C. you can consider flying into Baltimore, BWI. I know Southwest Air flys into that airport, and their tickets are usually changeable/refundable.
It's a cheap and easy train ride from there down to D.C.
I'm often in Washington, and usually driving a 15 passenger van. If it works out that I can be there around that time I'd be more than happy to shuttle folks out to TB's and back.
I can't commit to that right now, but as date nears I would expect to be able to arrange that.

Truckinbutch,
Thanks alot for your hospitality and stepping up to bring a proper meeting to the family this year. I was prepping all winter by trying out all sorts of all grain recepies, and really trying to get a great offering to share. Thanks for giving us rebels, pirates and lunatics some direction
. See you in August friend ![Clapping ](./images/smilies/icon_clap.gif)

Ask anyone that went to Jedfest :all them strangers got to be friends real fast and there were no issues between people . Just to confirm, that is August 6, right? All my plans are on last minute notice. Depends on job situation. I'll be done my career change for school shortly (passed my CWB all position stick tests!), and if I find work in that field, it'll be hard to say what i can do for time off. Would love to make it though, and SOH is all for me going.Truckinbutch wrote:OK , coordinating with Croweater we are looking at 8/6/16 for a date to gather here . Need some feedback , please .

StillLearning1:
My spousal unit had a brief similar concern before I headed out to Pagosa Springs last year for S3. When Jedfest came around, she said "Go have fun with your buddies!"
It's slightly intimidating walking up a driveway out in the middle of the Colorado or Pennsylvania wilderness your first time, but when Woodshed came out and gave me a big hug greeting I knew I was in the company of extraordinary gentlemen. That realization only grew stronger as the weekend and activities progressed.
"Jump in the pool, the water's fine!"
PS She's welcome too, 'specially if she's got a personality on her.
