I just bought a 92 Kawasaki ZX11. I talked the wife into getting it to save gas going to work. I forgot to tell her it has about 135 horse at the rear tire and will do 170 miles per hour. She's not too crazy about the loud pipe on it. So far I like the bike, it does'nt handle like my old 600 sport bikes but it is insanely fast.

I rode for years and have decide to get back in it again. I didn't want to spend a lot so I went looking for bargain basement.
I got a 1983 Honda Gold Wing base model with no containers or windshield. It has an 1100 cc engine ans really low miles. I had the shop redo the brakes and the front shock seals, and new tires. It has air shocks all around.
This is going to be a sweet ride for going work. This will be the first opposing four I have owned. That has to be the smoothest engine I have ever ridden. I should get it bring it home tomorrow ready to roll.

It's funny how things turn out in life.
Years ago, I would have bet my life's savings, (supposing I had any) that one of the last bikes to reach classic status would be a Gold-WIng. How wrong I would have been.
I'd really like to have a GL1000. Smooth as silk.

Enjoy and post pics when you have it!

Are you going to repair it? Looks repairable but I bet it will be expensive, triumph parts aren't cheap.

I have a big penis so I only need a small bike :))
my current EZ110 from the taiwaneese SYM, almost as good as a honda wave but much cheaper. 3L will do 110 Km in the city!

It's personal preference but I would think that getting anything under 500cc ones in the mud would be less desirable. I'd keep smaller ones cleaned and polished.
15 gallon pot still, 2"x18" column with liebeg condensor on propane.
Modified Charles 803 w/ 50gal boiler, never ran so far.

I ride a fancy road bike (push bike) and oogle at everyone's motorbikes... wish I had one but also feel that i would look like a cock (wouldn't suit me I don't think lol) and I'd also probably kill myself

Love motorbikes even if i don't have one.
