Keen for some advice

Kia ora folks. As I said in my intro post I have some spare keggles literary hanging around and have had way too much time on my hands lately and I’ve gotten to thinking my spare eHLT would make a good still. Someone involved in it’s original build tells me it was designed with that in mind. I also have a HEX that might be of use as part of a column.
I think the type of spirit I’d mostly be interested in making would be gin.
I’ll post some pics and let y’all tell me what you think.

I also not that we’re not meant to get political but my measurements are in metric. Sorry about that
HEX is 85mm by 410mm long. HEX housing is 490mm long with TC ferrules at each end
