Just sorting the plumbing for the dephlegmator, it will go on a bracket soldered to the head.
1/2 inch with a 1/2 inch needle valve and a full flow ball valve.
Allows for either full flow or just needle valve flow.
Having the ball valve means you can load plates without having to adjust your needle valve, when you are set to to start producing just shut the ball valve.
The two T joints with the blank caps are a bit of future proofing incase I want to add another ball and needle combo for a third level of flow.
That's the theory anyway

Tinkering in the shed, made a bracket for my plumbing to sit in, will get a wrap of wool insulation around each contact point

Looking good sporical.
One thing I noticed that could become a problem is the long outlet pipe on the PC.
Once there is hose on it it will have a fair bit of leverage at the point it joins to the condenser.
A short bit of pipe the same diameter near the bottom wedged between the pipe and the condenser would be an easy fix.

If you zoom in real close Salty you can see a dob of solder on the outlet, cracked the tab off it when I removed the heat shrunk hose.Saltbush Bill wrote: ↑Thu Feb 23, 2023 7:05 pm Looking good sporical.

Thought should I fix that before I give it a clean now? No bugger it I'll fix it later

Something like this brace between the column and condenser that I used on my old 4 inch build to help support the condenser......helps support and keeps everything straight / parallel.
