A Tom Collins made with my take on Old Tom Gin. Her Indoors likes it too. The Old Tom is pretty good straight as well. A nice result from a first attempt at a lost drink.
A glas of 45% rye bread whiskey, aged on heavily toasted Am. white oak from Holybear. The picture does not do justice to the nice glow and allmost redish colour the drink has. Just 2 months old and it will benefit from more time, but pretty okay already!

I'm a fan of Old Tom gins, did you follow a recipe, or could you post yours?
Shouting and shooting, I can't let them catch me...
Drinking Shite fizzy piss beer in Asia, these guys have no idea of good beer. Heading to Copenhagen today, hope they bring some beers over from their Belgian neighbors there.

Enjoying some "brandy" from some grape concentrate wine I made... taste real good, and is very smooth! I've read that you can't make brandy this way but there is no mistaking the origins of this drink.
The truth is like salt. Men want to taste a little, but too much makes everyone sick.
Grapenuts cereal sugar wash. Oaked it On ujssm then peach/blackberry wine blocks. Good but needs more time. And more tails to go with that time, I left a lot of taste in the tails.

Just put my 100 proof sweet feed in a glass with ice and just a touch of water. OMG!!!!! It's been four months aging ,and WOW is it good! Happy Birthday to Me!!!!
Doing a comparison between my version of kummel and Brennivin the Icelandic version of aquavit. Very similar mine is a bit sweeter so I think my next batch will try to alter the recipe and try Odin's suggestions on my thread.
Pagosa Time Tea. Tonight consisting of a shot of Smoke, a shot Pineapple Spice, shot of Apple Pie, pint glass full of ice, sprite and a splash of cola.
With our stupid warm temps it felt appropriate.
It is a good seller at local bars. Often I will substitute Eagle Mtn for the Smoke. It is smoked corn, barley and rye.
That combo however makes it pretty pricey at the bar. Good thing I am tight with the distiller
Stupid good rum, out of the jar, directly from the pot, still warm from the condenser. This stuff is like candy. Panela & molasses make me happy. And this is a stripping run...

Here come the tails. Once I get this wrapped up I'm gonna see how this goes with my ginger pantydropper! Sort of a Dark & Stormy without all the fizz. I expect if I'm not careful I'll end up DunderStruck!

This next one is 3 parts apple brandy 1 part amaretto. Better. Just enough almond and sweet. Need a label and dedicated bottle now. this is freakin delicious.
First big slug of my first distilling project "AppleHoneyShine" made from hard cider and meade I made, single distilled in the alembic.
This is the bottle I kept white... no oak. Just glass and time.
Not bad considering I am not a brandy lover... less burn than I remember and lots of apple funk! I did not gag
Might be nice in a hot cider!
