Nice theory, 'cept you cant enter a country with a one way ticket (with the exception of the illegal alien loving US that is). Almost any country you go to (and AU is no exception), you have to prove you have:

1. proof of paid transport in and out.
2. time you will be leaving
3. funds sufficient for your "needs" (whatever the powers to be think this to be).
4. vaccination proof, and possibly proof of medical insurance are also needed.

However, you do get double points for your method listed above

Anyway, it would be nice to take a holiday there before I push up daisies.

Aussie bands...the Divinyls, Men At Work, Split Enz., Air Supply, INXS, Hoodoo Gurus, Olivia Newton John, Nick Cave (went backstage once even though I'm not much into the music, weird scene), Rick Springfield (oh I wish that I had Jesse's girl...doo doo doo doo), I could go on.

I actually like some of the old Split Enz stuff but don't tell anyone. I also like AC/DC until Bon died. Brian's voice just grates one me though they did some great songs into the "For Those About to Rock" album which is the last one I'll listen to. And what about Rose Tattoo? Pretty good drinkin' music.

One of my favorite all time bands, The Angels, known in the States as Angel City cause there was a U.S. glam band called "Angel" in the 80's. I love their stuff up until their LP "Watch the Red". "Night Attack", "No Exit", "Face to Face", "Dark Room", even their first LP, great stuff I can listen to all day.

Depends what they are, but guns aren't completely banned. You will need a reason though (professional shooter, gun club etc).

Went to Sweden once, and the amount of people i met in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, who'd done exactly that was amazing.
It was common knowledge how obliging we were...

Course that was 20 years ago....

UJ, have a listen to Beyond Salvation, Angels last album of the original crew, about 90-91. Its a bloody ripper, I still listen to it. Cant understand some the new stuff nowadays.

I'd come to Australia but it would cost to much to bring my scrap iron pile with me. Without it and my welder I'd be lost. How could I built another still?
