It is not the matter, nor, the space between the matter,
but rather, it is that finite point at which the two meet,
that, and only that, is what is significant...........

C R thirty years earlier indeed. Great analogy. Big Moon Ritual By CRBrotherhood is another great album by Chris and his band. The guy can write no doubt. Gonna see the Crowes in Nov. They never disappoint.

Was listening to Girl from a Pawnshop when I got the news my dad had passed. Always been one of my favorite Crowe tunes. Took me almost a year before I could play that song on my guitar again. Makes me think if him(kinda weird considering the content of the song)every time I play or hear it.

I'm sure somewhere in here one of you southern boys mentioned Blackberry Smoke. Goin to see them in Denver in November then the Black Crowes a week later. My brother is comin up from Hotlanta for both shows. Only thing better would be them on the same night.
Check out Railroad Earth if you've never heard of them. If you like the Dead you will enjoy their music.
String Cheese Incident was a great local jam band who gained some national acclaim. Their song Lands End is smokin.

This is for my other Metal Head friends around the world..
These are our local boys.. Strapping Young Lad. Devin Townsend is the brains behind this group and a handful of others.
He was featured on the cover of Guitar World with Steve Vai in 1993.

I wasn't sure where to post this. The 11th day of the 11th month 1918 was armistice day for the Great war. 11 o'clock on this day we observe a minute of silence in memory and reverence to those who served our country and its allies and the many who suffered a lost there lives in this great confrontation
lest we forget
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety. Benjamin Franklin

vic waters is a personal friend of mine and is as much a part of the south GA Coast as the tides and marsh grass. This song is about a shrimp boat or long line fishing boat hand missing his woman on the hill. He has many songs, not all available of course. Hope you like a little coastal GA Homegrown!
