I have enjoyed reading and learning from your many posts
I am currently finishing my still from plans at building a home distilling apparatus. the plans build a reflux colum still with a water jacket condensor.
I have a keg that I want to use as the boiler but i dont know if it is stainless or aluminum. 
Any way to tell? I hope to use a stainless steel bowl to attach the colum to the boiler.I am also looking for copper mesh to hold the packing in. will the local hardware store have it?
And how do I post a picture?
