I know there's a few of these around and I've read on here Georgia Moon being impugned but I was wondering if there is a good one out there?
Otherwise, if anyone knows of any viable alternatives that can be shipped to Great Britain / the UK, please feel free to E-mail me.

Yes....there is one very good one being made.
It's called Virginia Lightning, made by Chuck Miller of Culpepper Farms.....

Chuck is a retired areonautical engineer who grows all his own corn on the farm and pot stills everything right there on location. You can order it online. It is 100% corn, no other grains. It has a very 'bright' corn flavor.

Numerous 57L kegs, some propane, one 220v electric with stilldragon controller. Keggle for all-Grain, two pot still tops for whisky, a 3" reflux with deflag for vodka. Coming up, a 4" perf plate column. Life is short, make whisky and drag race!

Actually... Chuck's farm is called "Belmont Farms of Virginia" and yes... bright is a good description of Virginia Lightnings' flavor. I concider his clear corn whiskey very tasty and smooth. It is 100 proof.Dan Call wrote:Yes....there is one very good one being made.

It is triple distilled and does not have too much in the way of flavor.
