After a very stressful 9 months my wife has given birth to a healthy 8lb boy. I was bloody worried as were both over 40 and my wife is in every "high risk" category there seems to be. Anyway, on Wednesday she gave birth naturally with a 2.5 hour labour(fair dinkum,2 and a half hours from go to whoa) to a healthy boy.Though the baby would have been loved and cherished no matter how he was, I am relieved and happy.Chip off the old block, Hes a carrot-top.

Yep,Hooks-Stillers,growers,fishers,diggers etc. Whichever way he wants to go I will help, but if he wants to go the way of traditional methods I am sure that myself and all you other members are more than he will need for information. I personally have found HomeDistiller usefull for more than just stillin. Theres comeraderie, like interests and real "land skills" that are shared. Not overtly or blatently, but you glean a little bit of knowledge from each poster, new or old,and you just put that away for future use. Wether the members of this forum realise or not, the information on how you could be self-sufficient is here or could be gotten just by asking. We are a world wide font of collective knowledge.(although my share of input for tangible knowledge is sadly lacking,I can some times give anecdotal advice).Just reading through some of the old timers posts(I,the regular readers, and you, know who you are) never fails to divulge some information on how to do something on the topic you are endeavoring.Cheers.
