I'm about to have ALOT of URRV and was thinking of flavoring some with green apples and cinnimon sticks. maybee a bit with some mint and caramel. A good neutural makes a great base for whatever flavor you want to throw at it but my question is...What works for you guys? I estimate that I will have about 12-15gal of 100proof and want to flavor about half of it and experiment with as many different things as I can. Thanks in advance for any Ideas, I'll post results and reviews of everything I try.

my personal favourites uses for neutral are:
Punkin's Thai Terror (not for the faint of heart)
Pantry dropper (boysenberry, red current etc. bout to try peach / nectarine)
kahlua
vanilla vodka (add a vanilla bean for a bit till happy)
cinnamon vodka (ditto with cin. quils)
limoncello
Sweet red pepper vodka
Frangelico (still working on it. recipe coming soon)
and GIN!
can't ever have enough neutral...

A lot of macerations age really nicely. My limoncello was reall disappointing when I made it, and two years later, its really nice. you just have to get upset and forget about it for a while.

Have made this many times , as I write about to do a fresh batch , wife loves it
Lemon Myrtle Liqueur
Pick 30 grams lemon myrtle leaves (no stalks)
Wash in cold water
Add 400 ml ( 380 g. ) straight alcohol (40%)
Leave for 1 week , no more , to steep
Filter thru a fine sieve
Dissolve 200 grams sugar in 400 ml water and boil
Allow to cool
Mix with the lemon myrtle vodka and bottle
Makes about 1 litre
