Hi

I am a new member.
I own some plum trees at my mountian place here in western Bosnia. That's my fortune actually.
I live in a city but going to the place several times per year.
The altitude is about 750m and the mountain pinnacles all around mostly reach up to 1200m but some of them up to 1800m.
It's a karst-woodland terrain, with a lot of canyons too, almost wilderness. Not much people there.
There are loads of bears, wolves, wild boars, foxes, eagles, a large black cruisers, other small birds, squirrels, very poisonous snakes, small lizards, etc.
At the place I make a strong plum brandy from the plum using a hand made boiler for the distillation of brandy.
There are also a lot of wild cornellian cherry trees there as well. It is possible to make a strong brandy from it as well. :ewink:

Welcome to the forums mate.

If you knew some of the weird stuff people here make alcohol from, cherries and plums with be a walk in the park.

If it can be fermented it can make alcohol.

Just ask rad.

What a beautiful part of the world you live in. I bet the air is crisp and clean.

Hello again

Thank you guys for the welcome.

So far I've made 47% strong brandy from the plum but now I am going to switch to plum brandy of 44% since I've concluded that too much percent of alcohol destroy the original fragrance of fruit from which the brandy's been prepared.

Pictures of the still will arrive later under some other topics.

The air's perfect.
The fruit's perfect as well.

The brandy ?
Depends on what people like to drink. :)
