First corn wash
Allright I might as well say it. I finaly did my first corn wash. I am amazed at the speed at wich it fermented. I put it down sunday night and it was done tuesday morning or close to done anyway 1.000. So I racked it off and got some more suger mixed up and poured it in and away it went. So its also my first consecutive ferment.

Just did a basic UJSM. Used7# corn 8# sugar and bread yeast. Split corn into 2, 5 gal buckets made the wash with 5 gal water and made a starter with the wash, pitched yeast then split water with the corn. And don't forget to get your ph right.FLquacker wrote:pump...which recipe did you use?

Good for you Eric,
I was wondering when you were gonna get in to some real corn.
I sure would like to trade off again.
Or did ya promise it all away already?
