I wish I had found this site 1st before I read extensively on this subject, now I am just confused. I downloaded the plans for the Reflux Still using the milk container as a boiler. I have secured the following: 10 gal. stainless milk container, 3ft of 2" copper pipe, 2ft. of 1 1/2' copper pipe, 6ft of 1/2' copper pipe. My desire is to make rums & whiskeys primarily not neutrals. Can anyone help guide me, using the materials I already have to make a still suited for this purpose? I don't have deep pockets, but can put a little more money towards fitting ect. I don't have a machine shop at my disposal to do some of the more intricate designs I have seen posted. Also, I was planning to use some form of jacketed condenser because of the ease of fabrication, but have noticed most recent favorable posts by experienced distillers showing the VM design with a coil condenser. Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Best Still to build
