I know the patience rule. Its a tough one but I can hold back. I only just finished putting my still together on the weekend after having the parts for the last month (except for the SS capable flux)and haven't put a real wash through it yet. Only water and vinegar so far but I need to make sure I take care of all the leaks before running anything flammable through it.

I was interested in the consequences of running a wash before it finished for curiosity sake.

It can be done it fomes a lot and there is a good chance it will puke into your condencer if your not carfull. If for some reson you run it before its done only fill your still about half way and heat it up slowly. It won't hurt you to do it but your going to be disipointed with the results.
