As an aside to a recent post:

My folks just returned from a trip to Bermuda, Barbados and a couple other ports of call.

Gifted me a bottle of this Gosling

Nice color.
Smells rummy enough I recon.
Not much body though.

My sugarhead "all Bran" with chared oak, raisins and three weeks of sleepy time is better,,,,,IMHO.

Does a feller good to make his own.

Anybody ever try this Gosling?

Kind of a shame when a "not rum" is better rum than "a rum".

My daughter bought me a bottle of Talisker whiskey ftom the distillery in Scotland. Its full of heads, I prefer my own.

Someone convinced me that Gosslin Black was the greatest. Bought a bottle. All I can say is: Ho Hum.
As you said, nice color, nice nose, no body whatso ever.
