Hi all from NZ
I am totally new to all this and am taking advantage of our "legal" status here
Bought a still for Xmas and as I write my first wash is running through the still.
I've started small scale with an air still with plans to learn and graduate to a full blown Reflux one if it all pans out
I am reading lots and trying to absorb it all

Hey mate, just been up your way today. Awesome day overlooking the ocean.
Have fun with it, just another good reason to be a Kiwi... (got to rub it in as much as we can). It can get pretty adictive, this sport of ours. Read through the various forum posts and you'll soon learn much more than the brew shop staff. And the cool thing is you never stop learning new stuff and ways of doing things (if you want to that is).
