hey guys,

question
1: what are the purpuses of grains in washes? are they just for flavour?

2: is the most basic wash for moonshine, sugar, water, yeast? again does cornmeal make flavour?

3: i read this on the internet but was wondering if it was bs; get potatoes, peel dice and cook in distilled water until mushy, strain and use liquad in a still, still twice then dilute down? would this work, its ment to be how to make vodka?

4: is a metal tin (small barrel) such as what you can buy turps and laquer (wood) stuff in work as the pot still?

sorry for the stupid questions guys, just really want to get into this hobby!

One answer fits all your questions but first are over the legal age?---your questions are so basic that any highschool kid should know.

Gotta agree with Dnderhead... You haven't researched enough to be asking questions just yet... Make sure you read the entire parent site at least a time or three... It'll help answer questions you can't even think of yet... It does little good for us to answer one question only to have it prompt three more... You need to know the theory of the "why" behind the "how"...
