i was wondering to make a little still to just test small batches with (like 3L) i think they are 5L???
would a heinekin keg bought from the bottleshop provide a good boiler or is it made of cheap aluminum???

Ya that's a bad idea, aluminum is not good. Also for a test still 5l is to small in my opinion any thing less the 5 gallons is a wast of time but I guess there are folks hear stilling on 8l pots.
