Now I'm experimenting with a longer toast (3 hrs), to see what happens.

Worth a try (maybe??)

I soak mine for a day or so then wrap in foil and place in the oven for and hour or so.
Then I alligator char when I'm ready to install in to the likker.

Can't exactly remember why I do this.
