Rhubarb Wash

Hiya

I normally make rhubarb wine with my excess after chutney, jam etc.

Has anyone successfully made anything decent using rhubarb?
I was perhaps thinking making a rhubarb wash similar i do with the wine but without the raisins/grape concentrate. So that would be 2 kg rhubarb, sugar to an SG of 1080 in 5 l. What do you think? Should i keep the raisins in? that would be 500 g / 5 l.
