urethane really a concern?

I've been using nutrients that contain urea for the yeast. Is urethane really that much of a concern given that it's a solid and the boiling point is 182C (360F)? It seems like the amount that would get into the final product would be very low. If you did a second distillation it seems like the amount would be negligible.

None of us, and indeed the medical community know the answer to that. You have to decide, I stopped using urea. If you are good neough to assure that all the urea is used up there would be no problem. The final product that you are concerned with is not urea, it is a product of urea and alcohol being heated. So I don't know about it's volitility. The commercial distillers are limiting the amounts, they have chemist working for them. We are blind to the amount we are producing. There are plenty of other ways to ferment.
