lab grade still for water any good for home use ?

Post by rexxxlo »

first off this is my first post and i am verry new to this but extremely intrested

in the process of getting the parts together to build a beer keg still i have told a few friends about my new intrest when one of them said come over this weekend and pick something up at my house that i have had for some time and havent had a use for

when i got there this is what he had for me
http://www.barnsteadthermolyne.com/getproddata2.cfm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow
a brand new 3 litre automatic megapure corning still

so here is my question is this unit useable in this hobby or is it to small?
from what i have read i think the heads and tails might be a little to seprate and if i have to do it repeatedly to distill a 5 gallon mix of wash and i am not at home with this yet
