3 Reflux in 1

Is it posible to have three reflux stills combined into one where the outfeed goes into the next pot and so on thus eliminating the need for triple runs? I cant figure out how this would work unless there were a valved collection point that you waited on. Any advice would be appreciated.

I think the info you want is on this site. Under the ´Continiuos Still´ section.

But if you´re already using a reflux-still, and thus making very pure alcohol, why would you do multiple runs? Don´t get me wrong, but i just don´t understand.

The whole thing about refluxing is that you do a lot of destillations in one run. And therefore eliminating the need for multiple runs as in olderdays vodka making. As you know we owe Aneas Coffey for that invention.

I am building my first reflux. I guess i am trying to be to creative Thanks for the clarification. I guess one will be adequate!

One reflux still should be enough to make juice. You must shut off your output valve and let the juice reflux within the still for the purity to rise. Your question leads me to believe that you do not understand how a reflux still works. No offense, but perhaps more reading is in order, your question just did not seem to make sense. Peace.

If the column is tall enough (1 meter +) and the still is run not too fast the product will be pure enough. And thus no need for multiple runs.
