Filtering - coffee filter or cotton.

When filtering something that has sugar, like brandy made from soaking peaches, I find that coffee filters clog up pretty fast. Is cotton any better in your experiance.

I ran into the same thing so I bought a pot used for steaming buns etc.
The bottom part is like a regular pot, the top part is like a collinder with a lid on it. I put the coffee filter in the top part pour in a quart of peach brandy and put the lid on. Set the whole thing in the fridge and let it filter overnight. I bought mine at a Fred's store, only cost $1.49.

Had that problem to . Found that using neterines {fuzzless peaches} instead of regular peaches and being carfull not to break skin on fruit helps.
