New to the forum but have been distilling 9 months

Post by la Bleue »

Hi all I have been lurking on the forum for a little while and have made a 3ft Bok with a 12 inch liebig. Its attached to a 15 gallon keg shell for the boiler. I use a 65k BTU burner that workes great!

Everything is running smoothly I have probably distilled 30 gallons of wash with it so far. I worked my way up to the bok from a one gallon pot and even before that a quarter gallon pot, both on the stove. I am interested in absinthe due to the work with all the herbs to acheive a great product. I hope to learn alot more from this forum and its users.

O, Im located in the midwest!

Cheers!

Welcome Aboard, absinthe is something I'm starting to like.
