Rubber in the Still

Hi everyone, I bought a still from Brewhaus.com, but at the top of the column is a rubber bung used to seal it. I was wondering if the rubber bung is useable, or will it contaminate the liquor? If it’s not usable, is there a better option to fill that hole in the top of the still?
Here's the still I bought: http://www.brewhaus.com/Essential-Extra ... 15C96.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow.
And here's the rubber bung link: http://www.brewhaus.com/Bung-Pure-Tan-G ... 33C96.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow.
Thank you for the help!
